Trump The Emperor God?

 President Trump reversed his Executive "No Tolerance" order on immigrants crossing the border on last week. The reversal comes on the heels over an outrage across the Country of people expressing their disapproval of the separation of children from their parents while crossing the border. President Trump touted the idea that this was the Democrats fault and that they needed to fix it, both He and his surrogates were on several news media outlets saying that Congress needed to do their job. While many on the left are use to President Trump diverting from responsibility, it seems that the Country called out Trump on his lies this time. The American people seem to be unanimous on the reunifying children with parents, however it does seem to open up some new compartments regarding immigration. After children were separated from their families it doesn't seem that the The Department of Homeland Security had much of a system in place to reunify them to their parents.

       According to an article "While adults were sent to jail or indefinite detention, more than 2,300 children were separated and sent to government-licensed shelters or temporary foster care.          Government efforts to match separated migrant children with their guardians face considerable obstacles. Additionally, the process of reuniting families as well as the indefinite detention they face once they’re back together could have psychological consequences for parents and children alike, experts said". So the Trump seemed to have a robust pedigree "Zero Tolerance" for undocumented immigrants, but didnt seem to care about what would happen when the parents and children were actually reunited. Hmm...seems that this administration is lacking something that all Americans seem to keep screaming, COMPASSION. While President is actually doubling down on his anti- immigrant rhetoric, the American people are watching closely as America prepares for the November elections.

       It might come to no surprise, but the idea of  men being raped by women is heavily disputed and even heavily debunked. I believe the scenario people cannot get pass is "how could a big strong man, be raped by a woman?"  Just to be clear, all of the definitions of  rape exclude men in gender, but not with regard to consent. Consent is an important factor when determining if a man can be raped by a woman, after all there are variables that could put a man in a precarious situation to be sexually assaulted. According to the law, only a man can commit rape (as the penetration has to be with a penis). Scared of Interracial DATING???

          Starting a conversation about race is not always the easiest thing to do. Recently, one of my friends told me that they had to deal with something that had been extremely challenging for them. Telling his mom that  he was in love with a white woman, he is black by the way.  To clarify, his mom is not racist and has never exhibited any of those behaviors. However, she has intimated that she might be a little disappointed if he did bring home a woman who was not black. It wasn’t what she said exactly, it was more of what she didn’t say. For the record, his mom is a woman of many words to contextualize this, her silence when jokingly asked about her son dating a white girl hypothetically was louder than her speaking. I remember ease dropping on a conversation between her and his dad and she jokingly said “he could even bring home a white girl” but then she said, “let me not say that too loud”.
